Will Tiger fans hold Miles in the same light as the ghost of Saban past, and discredit the current coach?

Or will Les Miles be viewed as a chronic underachiever.

FTR - I like Les as a coach and a person.

Would be someone who gets great talent and underachieves, correct?

So your question is really stupid.

Only if Les goes to another school and win 3 national championship while domination get league.

which is unlikely to happen.

Les has great talent. We don't think it is being used well

If this happens, I doubt they care whose players they won with. It will reinforce the belief that Miles underachieved with the talent on his roster.

Les will go down as a top ten coach in SEC history. He'll be remembered well. I believe he has some health issue and it's time to move on.

Good coach, great recruiter, better man. I can't wait to see less is that you outside of Death Valley. But he's nowhere near the level of Saban. For that matter I'm not sure it is.

Seems to me this would validate LSU's decision to let him go. Talent was there but wasn't being developed or used properly since 2011.

Exactly. But that would also mean that he utilized Saban's recruits successfully, right?

He'll be praised for accomplishing what Miles could not

It would be an indictment of Miles

Getting talent was never the issue. Winning with it consistently is Miles problem.

Seriously, LSU needs to look at Houston Nutt. His calling card is doing well with someone else's players.

They were a 2 loss national champion that played against one of the 2 or 3 worst teams I've seen make a title game.
