What happens if Muschamp goes into Neyland and loses convincingly?

Will the fan outrage be so vast and extensive, that the AD will be forced to recant his statement about waiting till the end of the season?

Doubtful. It's not like they're going to hire a new coach in the middle of the season.

He won't recant, but he won't wait till the end of the season either. Petrino is known to move mid season.

They won't fire him mid-season, but their firm will start quietly shopping around.

I think Chip Kelly will be on the Florida sideline next year

Why would he leave the Eagles? It's not like he has been disappointing in the pros like Spurrier or Saban.
That would be a damn good match, though.

His buyout is 10 million.

He gets fired, and becomes our DC next year.

But this thread is pointless. We're not losing to fricking Tennessee.

What's his pay like in Philly? Usually NFL coaches make a lot more than CFB...there are exceptions but in general thats why you dont see a guy go from HCing in the NFL to HCing college. The dynamics of coaching in the NFL doesnt necessarily mean its easier in the NFL, but you dont have to deal with recruiting.

They definitely need an offensive-minded coach.
This sounds odd, and I may very well be wrong, but it seems to me that teams need coaches that fit with their 'identity'. Florida has had their greatest success with offensive minds, while Alabama has had the best success with defensive minds.
