I know there is another thread but it has turned into a Elston suspenion and shitty field turf(thanks to me) thread. I've seen where he may have had surgery today possibly. But just curious what the actual damage was. Hope he makes a full recovery. Kid is a fantastic athlete and fun to watch with a football in his hands.

His foot was pretty much pointing 90 degrees the wrong way from his leg. It's not supposed to do that.

I am guessing it was career ending.

I'm no doctor but there was a 90 degree bend in the middle of his lower leg where there should not have been. Out for the season at least.

That seems to be the popular rumor but people have come back from major injuries before. Hoping this is one of those cases.

I have a question......

Drake injured something early in the game didn't he? Was it the same leg he broke later in the game? I'm assuming the two injuries weren't related.....

I've heard the same rumor around here. Very sad, if that is the case.

I honestly couldn't tell if it was an ankle dislocation, a compound fracture of the bones, a knee dislocation. It was awful is all I saw. I had the same reaction as Robert Nkemdeche and Conner. I hope and pray it isn't career ending for him. He is a dynamic player and fun to watch

I hope he goes to a different surgeon/OR than where Prothro went.

I heard it was a complex fracture. Both bones fractured in multiple places and a possible dislocation of the ankle. Compound fractures, the bone protrudes through the skin.

I think the Dr that did the surgery was at the game and went with Drake on the airlift.
