Everything points to the opposite. Terrible recruiting rankings, transferring around, his skill set, etc

There is none unless you are a Gator fan.

There is only one starting QB that's NOT sec caliber. Chad Kelly. He's pretty good.

Look at the rest of the slaw QBs in the conference, the bar for an SEC QB is fricking low.

Too bad he's on a team that's also NOT sec caliber. Ole Miss. They're pretty bad.

He threw some tight spirals with nice ball placement in the Gators spring game that led to some scores.

Didn't throw multiple INT's like the over-hyped Franks.

That's all I got.

Steve Spurrier says he's the man so he's the man. Doesn't matter Jim McElwain thinks

Well:

He is gonna be the starter on a SEC team.
He was born into football and knows the game.
He has had above average coaching and preparation.
He looked pretty good against a SEC defense this spring.
He will pass for more yards than Harris and Dobbs.

McElwain can get production out of a QB. Y'all watch as Florida ruins some seasons while winning 8-9.

The bad news is that we don't know how good he is but that's also the good news. We could have a horrible QB that can even win his division with a NFL team around him.
