What does Muschamp have to do at this point to save his job?

If I had to guess, Florida ends the year 8-4 with a bowl win and 3rd, possibly 2nd, in the East. Would he have earned another year?

Win 3 of the last 4; also they didn't play the game against Idaho so they automatically don't have an extra win.

I think he can win next 3 and play Fsu well and get another year

For me, he'd have to win out.
For Foley, win 3 of the next 4.

Winning out during the regular season and/or backing into the East are the only two things that do it.

I think he has to win out. Any loss in the next three games would be really bad losses and a loss to FSU would probably do him in too.

He just saved it yesterday. Don't tell Gators fans though.

3 of 4 - playing FSU tight
If he beats FSU, there might be some leeway for other losses.

Agree. Winning the next 3 isn't really enough, he should be expected to win these games. IMO, it is more about how we win them and then what happens at FSU.

No, Muschamp has got to go!
He is 26-19 as a head coach and is on the verge of his 2nd straight losing season.
ETA: Florida State victory could save his job.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Florida beats Florida State this year. That would be GOLD!

Wouldn't shock me either.

I was in the first category too. But after the UGA win, I'm thinking winning three more followed by a narrow loss to FSU (ala Notre Dame), to me, would be improvement enough not to make the change.
Not sure how the bowl game would play into the picture or whether it would be too late to evaluate, but he needs to win his bowl game to keep me satisfied.

how you win (or lose) is damn important. arky is losing every game but shows a lot of promise. if they just had one or two more players they could be very very good. florida has a lot of good players and has looked like caca. if they start winning, esp with a different QB muschamp may get a reprieve.

I know they lost to Georgia Southern last year, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Foley isn't going to decide whether or not to fire Muschamp based on an easy game against Idaho, which was canceled. That extra win they would have had is irrelevant, really.
