Obviously Fournette is #1, who has taken the the second spot?

Third spot?

Also, any word on the QB battle?

No hidden flame attempt, just curious what our chief ON FIELD rival the last few years will look like this year.

LSU will be running the wild tiger this year. Fournette takes all the snaps. That's all you need to know.

#2 - Darrell Williams

Further down the list are Guice and Brosette.

Just saw some quote that Cam Cameron said that Fournette has been the most improved player over the offseason.

No matter how good Fournette is Miles always wants a few backs getting carries right?

I know they are gonna have a good run game. I am more interested in their qb battle. Jennings underperformed....Do they give Harris the nod? Or stick it out with Jennings hoping he has improved?

Fournette
D Williams
Guice
Ducre
Brossette

Guice and Ducre will get more and more touches throughout the year. I think Guice will be a superstar one day for us.

No one really knows who wins this yet, but Les has said AJ is making less mistakes in practice. Everyone knows BH has more talent, if he can limit his mistakes, I think he'll take over eventually.

I think AJ and BH both see significant PT early on and we go with whoever is best in game situations. I wish they would just give it to BH, but I don't see practice every day so who knows whats happening.

That would make sense.

Why don't you want them to give it to whoever is playing best in game situations? Are you a Bama fan?

Because I truly believe BH will be much better once he gets experience and I want him to get experience.

Fournette

Williams/Guice/Ducre
Brossette

Really excited about Ducre

probably see split snaps between QB's with Jennings starting. Obviously not what I am hoping but I've been watching Les Miles coach long enough to know how it will go down.

ETA: Fournette 45-55% carries, the rest split between other backs.

I just want whoever is playing better.

Plus the fact that the coaches don't have the luxury of losing games just to see if a QB will improve.

I don't know why LSU fans don't seem to understand this simple fact. There is no, "Just put in the other guy!" The coaches have to actually try to win EVERY SINGLE game.

Exactly. You won't find anyone on Tiger Rant saying "well at least Harris got starting experience!" after a loss. Those people will be wanting the whole staff fired.

Running back will be improved, see earlier posts. We do lose Collins, a 1st round draft pick, so that will hurt a little on the OL.

QB is still up in the air. I'm hoping and expecting it to be improved as well, but hard to get your hopes up too high considering last year.

Jennings has had a better spring according to Miles and Cameron has stated that Jennings is also in the "most improved" category.

Williams and Ducre are the only other RBs in spring practice for now. Ducre is looking like a FB/RB hybrid.

Guice will probably take over #3 once he comes in.

I can see Derrius Guice taking over the #2 role in the second half of the season.

He also identified Pocic as much improved.

Was it Frank or Cam that said last week that Guice is the type of player that we just have to get the ball to.

Can't remember. But I know he's had a great spring.
