What do LSU fans believe would have happened against Mizzu with Les?

They were 2-2 with their only wins coming against Eastern Michigan and Delaware State. They lost to West Virginia and a Georgia team we now know isn't very good. Looking ahead at their schedule, I would be surprised if they finish better than 5-7. By average recruiting rankings they are the second least talented team in the SEC in front of only Vandy.
I assert the final score would not have been significantly different with Miles at the healm. Mizzu certainly wouldn't have had anymore success on offense than they did.
It seems odd so much hope is being derived from blowing out the kind of team Miles routinely blew out. This Mizzu team isn't any better than Kentucky in 2014 and Auburn last year.

They'd lose to half the teams in that league for sure

3 yards, a cloud of dust and a 19-7 win

Memphis, Navy, and Houston would wreck them imo

Les beat State, who lost to USA, by 3 at home a couple of weeks before the Mizzou game

I believe LSU would have won and A&M fans would have started threads about it 2 weeks later.

Miles beat Kentucky 41-3 in 2014 and Auburn 45-21 last year, and Mizzu might be worse than both of them this year.
I just don't see the justification for this line of thinking. Les routinely year after year crushed teams of that caliber.

17-10 LSU
The Les/Cameron offense would have had 50% 3 & outs and and Mizzou's number of opportunities would have doubled, but the trick play wouldn't have worked the 2nd time and they would have had to settle for the 3.

Miles hardly ever blew out anybody.
It would of been a close game with us pulling away at the end.

Agreed, but something was different this year. The number of drives where things seemed to click were even few.

Les also routinely crushed A&M. Should we not get excited when that trend also holds?

The offense would have looked awful the defense would have gotten gassed and poop swastikas would have covered the visiting locker room as they lost to the worst tigers in the SEC

The game was 23-3 well into the third quarter. LSU held them to 95 yards in the first half and gained 296 themselves. That's a 201 yard differential in yardage in a half.
You can argue the team let up and that's on the coach, but make no mistake: LSU dominated them just a thoroughly as they did Mizzu when they put forth the effort.

We just look better, man! We played as a team. That wasn't happening anymore. We had kids leaving left and right. After we let Les go, the kids played for each other. As they should have been doing all along. It was nice to see. We as fan are excited to see this. And this probably has something to do with why they don't want to give up senior night on the 19th. And we all can understand that. I really can't wait to see them play South Miss. And then on to Alabama.

Since 2005 only three coaches in CFB have a greater average margin of victory in wins and only one a lower average margin of defeat in losses.
In other words, Miles routinely had more blow outs than almost anyone else.

Anecdotal at best

A convincing win just less points.
