Ridiculous and isn't substantiated. I don't give a shite how great of a recruiter you are, you don't win an average of 12 games a year for 7 straight years without being a great Xs and Os coach.

Make an argument for him not being great at in-game adjustments... fine. But he's one of the best "Xs & Os" coaches in the game.

He took over a a team that was 6-7 the previous season and went 7-6 in 2007 with 18 returning starters. Then he won an SEC championship in 2008 and national championship in 2009 with Shula's recruits.

Dude, there have been a multiple articles breaking down Saban's defenses in the NFL and at Bama. None of them leave the impression that he's bad at X's and O's. The opposite is actually true.
