What coach are/were you happy to see leave one of your rivals?

He wasn't a world beater of a coach but the guy just had AUs number.
But As an AU fan I'm glad to see Richt go. Kirby could turn out to be a great coach but still not own AU the way right did. Right owned us more than Saban has fairly easy unless I'm wrong. I didn't google.
Is there a coach similar to that in your opinion about a guy who just seemed to have your favorite teams number?

The reverse effect. As an opposing fan, I was very happy to see LSU rehire Miles. As far as a coach leaving, Croom at MSU ranks up top

Cannot participate, no rival.

I was happy to see Chavis leave LSU.

Ellis Johnson. No single coach has owned Bama more over the years.

Lance Thompson to Auburn.
Nevermind. Misread the OP. Thought it was a coach you were happy to see leave your program to go to a rival.

Thrilled to see Richt leave Georgia. Even better to see him go to the U where he will bring them back to dominance.
Also laughed my arse off at Georgia hiring Jim Chaney. frick that guy.

I'm not even sure I'm glad Richt was fired. All they need is the right coach and their 9-10 win seasons turn into championships if they do it right.

Yea but they could win championships in years they beat us here and there. Not beat us most years and still not do shite.

Really glad Smart left for the SEC East. Arkansas has always has trouble moving the ball against his defense. Now that he's left Bama I think Arkansas will really be able to put up some points.

Wasn't he 6-0 or 7-0 at one point against Bama? Wonder if they regret that call

Terribly upset to see Shula go. Thankful that Richt is gone. Kinda hoping Dan Mullen will get hired by a program out west. USC...UCLA...get him out of Starkville for his own good.
