Top 10 Coordinators 2012
In retrospect, Kirby Smart was too low, but man, how things have changed since 2012. What caused this change?

It is interesting how quickly opinions changed. I didn't really notice a change until late 2014. What did I miss? Serious question.

I was serious. Kirby Smart is #1, without question. But, what caused such a dramatic shift in opinion?

I was just talking about LSU

So, over the past 10 years, it has been fairly consistent Across the board. How has LSU's recruiting suffered?

John Chavis, Defensive Coordinator at LSU: Aside from Nick Saban, no other coach in the SEC has the job security of LSU’s Defensive Coordinator John Chavis, not even his boss, Les Miles. Chavis, who has had legendary defensive units at both LSU and Tennessee, has more than 23 years experience in the SEC and has become the gold standard for Defensive Coordinators in college football. Coach Chavis has had opportunities to become a head coach in the past, but has chosen to mastered his craft and not subject himself to the downfall of being the face of a program. Chavis is the Assistant King of the SEC.
Nothing has changed here

That 2009 class is what you saw in 2011 and 2012. Mix the loss of them and the poor dline/linebacker recruitment and you have a thin LSU front seven right now.

Didn't LSU make the decision to not have his contract extend past Miles? Isnt that the reason he gave? Which means the above isn't correct. They would not keep him if Miles was gone right? Hmmm
