Don't you care about player safety?

I want a circa '88 Loyola - Marymount type team. Just the polar opposite of the garbage I've tried to watch for many, many years now. Hell, we were told Gottfried was gonna run and gun. LOL.

Glad I don't have to worry about Shaka Smart going to Bama.

if we could just rebound and had 1 big worth a crap inside offensively, it would be enough to make the tournament.

Going for someone that just plays a high tempo offense isn't the answer.

Ben Howland in the answer.

I just want to watch something completely different than what I can no longer watch. Wins, losses, I don't care. Just show me something entertaining. For once.

That gimmicky high school stuff is ruining basketball!

Do away with that dagnabbed shot clock and bring back the glory days of Dean Smith and the "four corners" offense!

Better yet, let's bring back the jump ball after every basket!

And use REAL baskets! Not these goldarned "nets"!

Get some STRATEGY back in the game!

Mike McConathy at Northwestern State

They run and gun and are pretty good at it. He's taken them to the tourney 3 times in 16 seasons there, including just 2 seasons ago. They often score 80-90+ in games.

It's not just the tempo he runs it's the method behind it. I'm actually surprised a middle tier SEC team that can't get top talent hasn't tried it. It shouldn't be hard to get 10 or 12 average guys to buy in since SEC basketball is majority average guys anyway.

Plus we got that SEC speed

I'm more surprised he's actually been there 16 years, you would think he had an offer or two elsewhere by now.

Be ready to sacrifice defense.

It's fun to watch though.
