What are your team's facilities like?

An often underrated aspect of recruiting.
LSU has top notch stuff across the board, a lot of it thanks to Nick Saban.

I think OM has surprisingly great facilities considering our budget.
We also just build an awesome IPF for basketball.

Amazing. Second to none. Just need to see baseball get some of that money.

For years, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Florida State, Florida, Miami, etc. had recruiting pipelines into this state. DiNardo showed that you could keep these guys in state.
That attracted Saban to Louisiana after DiNardo was fired. The potential was there, and Saban recognized that.
With the help of Mark Emmert, Nick Saban sought to improve the LSU program from the inside out. Workout and practice facilities got a major facelift. The Academic Center for Athletes was built and is one of the premier centers in the nation focusing on the student-athlete.
All of this helped recruiting.
If DiNardo put a fence around the state, Saban built a wall and a moat.
Now here comes a truth that Bama fans will no doubt refute—anyone could have done this in Louisiana.
This place has been an untapped gold mine for a long time.
LSU is the flagship school in a talent-rich state with no major in-state rival in the premier conference for college football. It took cooperation from the administration and the vision to do it, but Saban didn’t build this program from scratch. He brought it up to par.
But give the man credit—he was the one to actually do it.
He unleashed the potential it had all along.
It’s the same thing he’s trying to do at Bama, although there it’s more of a resurrection.

We have crap for facilities.
We need IPFs for the baseball and basketball teams.
Bunch of garbage in Fayettenam. Never go there.
Our football stadium is a dump too, it was even named Waste Management Stadium for a while.

I can agree that a number of coaches could have done it, but it isn't like I could have showed up and built LSU into what it is now. LSU had seven losing season in the 90s, hadn't won the SEC since the mid 80s, and hadn't competed on a national scale since the late 50s, when Saban arrived in 2000.

Dinardo started the change. Saban built it to where it is now. If Saban had stayed at LSU, he would be a legend. He will never take over the Bear at Bama........as a legend at Bama......of course Auburn might have something to say about it......

if i'm not mistaken, ours are pretty top notch

Auburn will improve tremendously, but will do nothing to slow down what Saban is building.

Whatever anyone says, Saban is the best coach in the game. I would bet a $1K (a lot of money for me) that he wins another (mythical) NC at Bama. I think he would have won multiple (mythical) NCs at LSU.
The man is a great coach IMO.

Just some design flaws, like putting a LCD TV in a narrow hallway.

Fair to spare. We put all of our money into Poultry Science.

Except for DiNardo apparently. Just thought it was funny you said "anyone" right after mentioning someone who didn't. But that's just semantics I guess.
But really, what do I care. He did what we needed him to do at Bama, another place "anybody" could win big (except Dubose, Franchione, Shula, Price, Curry...)

Those are just the small ones we had left over.
They're actually set up so the coaches whose offices are along that hallway can watch tv from their offices with the doors open, or stand in the hall if they want to. They have a common area with them as well.
