Do any of y'all think this is on the table? And if so will they have to give back that Sugar Bowl trophy if it's vacated?

The chance is decent, and yes they'd have to give the trophy back if it is vacated.

But vacating wins is such a meaningless exercise. I don't know why the NCAA bothers with that crap.

You vacate wins for allowing players who took improper benefits to play. All our allegations in the new NOA are based on the snitches of other universities.

In the original NOA a 3* who hasn't started a game was mentioned so I guess any games he played in who he vacatwd but he has barely played and didn't play sugar bowl year so I doubt t it.

Wins are vacated for playing players that should have been ineligible, right? Most of the stuff they are referring to is in regard to players at other schools. Now, if the Tunsil stuff is ever included in this stuff, I would say they will be vacating wins.

Are they going to take down their SEC West Co-Champion banner?

If wins are vacated, the losses for the teams they beat remain...correct?

For a school like Ole Miss, who isn't chasing the all time winnigest program record, yes it's meaningless. But it's not meaningless to historically bigger programs and coaches. Paterno would be the winnigest coach ever if he didn't have 112 wins vacated. Pretty sure Alabama has been knocked down a notch in all time winnigest programs due to vacated wins. Yes it feels stupid in the present time to vacate wins but it makes a difference when looking at the record books.

FYI Paterno is the all time winningest coach again. That vacation was rescinded.

Vacations are really annoying when looking at records. I saw Ole Miss beat Alabama in Bryant Denny. Rather they vacate it or not, it still happened. Also, I don't think it's fair to all of the players on the team who were clean to pretend that they never won anything.
