Just wondering, put 30 on them to win it. Odds were +100000. 30 to win 30,000. What would have to happen?

Would probably need 3 out of the following 4 to lose: Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon

I think they could jump KSU by beating UF soundly

Obviously FSU must win out.

Georgia needs to lose this weekend and beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

Oregon must lose to Oregon State this weekend or have Stanford lose to UCLA and UCLA beat Oregon.

A K-State loss to Texas is also probably needed.

Then hope the computers find it in their hearts to give the Noles some love.

Well if they win out, that eliminates Florida. ND loses to USC. UGA loses to GT but then defeats 'Bama in the SECCG. Oregon loses to OSU. Even if K-state wins out, they had a horrible late-season loss. FSU having defeated one of the best teams from the SEC would vault over all of the two-loss teams with their 1-loss ACC championship. Still very long odds against it but stranger things have happened.

Good bet.

Notre Dame, Oregon, and Kansas State lose, and they beat Florida, they're probably in.

They're gonna get a big bump after beating Florida.

Kansas State might not even have to lose.

ETA: I don't get why people are saying Georgia has to lose this weekend. I don't think they do. If they lose to Alabama, they'll drop below Florida State.

The BCS is going to take a huge turn this weekend when Notre Dame, Florida, and Oregon all lose.

Aren't they 5th in the coaches poll already? It's the computer that is absolutely destroying them. Florida will help, but GT won't do much beyond that. I'm not sure they will make up enough ground there.
