Bama has the best overall talent, the best overall coaching staff and the X-factor.
The X-factor is the fact that Saban has a horse shoe up his arse that radiates luck when needed.
4th and 25 and the onside kick are just two examples.
With out either Bama would likely not have won the Ship this past year.

The shoe is still in play.

30% other than 07 (sabans first year) the closest thing they've had to a down year was 2010 when they finished 9-3 with losses to (South Carolina. LSU & Auburn) and even that season wasn't all that bad considering they went to a new years day bowl and pounded on a crappy big ten team to finish 10-3.

even if they finish 10-2 they'd still probably get a new years six bowl bid

Nonsense. The kick-six negates all that.
Gus Malzahn is the dark wizard of the league.

Alabamas season will depend on their OL. Fans act like it is completely dependent on the QB but it's not like out side of AJ Mccarron Bama had had great QB play that won games for them. Teams have stacked the box against Bama for years now. The difference now and then is until 2013 BamanOL still controlled the LOS regardless of the defense and Bama ran the ball successfully. I'd Scarborough and Harris are averaging 100 yards or more a game Bama will win ten games. If not it will be a long season.
