This time last year there was the Boom brothers hype, preseason Heisman candidate, ranked in the top 5 of most preseason polls.

Now they have fans faking suicide to get out of posting on here. Replaced Muschamp with Kevin Steele, lost a lot of their staff to South Carolina. Do they have a QB yet?

There isn't a lot of hope on the horizon for them honestly.

Quite a turn.

Any team ever? Texas in 2009 followed a national title game season in 2008 with a losing season.

Figured a Bama fan would know that.

I'm not piling on but I'll say I've never seen a program be great and terrible in a three year span. They either go to the national championship game or implode. Either way they don't half arse it.

Every time Auburn comes into a season hyped they completely fall on their face and blow it.

When everyone thinks they are going to be shitty they somehow end up having good teams.

I don't get it.

Auburn is always a dumpster fire every other time they play LSU at home.

2008, 2012, 2016, 2020...

Yup coming off an SEC title and Orange Bowl in 99

It was 3-8 though they only played 11 games back then

If recent history is any indication, Auburn will have a great season next year. I realize this makes no sense, but that's just what it has been like with them. Wacky

Auburn is either a championship level team or a dumpster fire. It's really confusing.

Obviously if you look at there scheme it explains a lot. The spread/hurry up just doesn't work with normal quarterbacks. Anytime Auburn has a pocket passing quarterbacks they become average at best. It's not until they get a Nick Marshall/Cam type that they have success and Newton's don't grow on trees.

Nothing, and I mean nothing is as "little brother" as doing this after a big brother loss...to another team.
