Absolutely not. Saban is safer at Alabama than the Pope at the Vatican.

The fact that it was a dramatic loss actually helps Saban. If my team is going to lose, I'd rather it take a once-in-a-lifetime heroic effort that goes down in history.

Losing to the gumps now that the Saban empire has fallen.

We have more talent, better athletes, and Orgeron is arguably a better recruiter.

Funny thing is.. You're dead serious.

None honestly, I would love to keep Butch around a long time but I hope his 2017 2nd straight loss to Derek Mason will likely mark the end of his tenure.

Kirby is safe unless this deteriorates into a 2-3 win team

but if Saban were to lose another dramatic game to Auburn like the most recent loss to Auburn, there would be many redneck tide fans wanting Saban fired.

Saban would only be safe it he could follow up a dramatic loss to AU with another 3 SEC titles and a NC like he did in the aftermath of the Kick 6.

I feel a little pang of regret that we're going to be the cause of Butch and Jim McElwain getting fired.

Losing again to Southern Miss would be really bad, and would have Stoops on the shot seat as far as the fans are concerned, but the AD isn't going to fire him for losing any 1 game.

(There is a rumor around that we're trying to buy out of this game, or at least pay USM to move it to Lex. So I guess we want to pad the chances of not losing it...)
