Muschamp seems excited about playing Bama next year.

Counting the 2008 and 2009 SEC Championships, Florida and Alabama have met four times in the past five years. The teams have faced each other five times in the regular season since 2005.
Had the criteria been "Who has gone the longest without facing each other during the regular season," South Carolina and Georgia would have been the opponents of choice. Of course, with conference expansion and the uncertainty about future schedules, those sort of factors were merely considered, not applied as hard and fast rules.

When Miles was 2 years in, he was saying the same thing Muschamp is. It was only after 8 years of the situation getting worse and worse that he made those public comments this summer. Hard to blame him for that.

I don't think any less of Les Miles for complaining about schedules. A few years ago Nick Saban complained about how many teams had off days before they played Alabama. The next year it was fixed and Alabama made a run for the National Title. To not provide this request for LSU in my opinion is showing favoritism towards Alabama and it's blatant. Schedule is everything.
