I'm more interested in who took those screengrabs to begin with and why. Was it Laremy? Was it the OM coach he was talking to? Who keeps that? Part of me says the coach kept it as a file so he could keep up with all the payments and such but if so how the hell did it get out?

Judging by the fact that Laremy's apparent messages were sent from the right side (the side the user sends messages from) the screenshots were either from his device or from someone else's device that somehow was logged into his account.

wouldn't shock me if it's someone else no one knows about right now. makes little sense for his step father to sue him earlier this week and then days later cause the guy he's suing to lose millions of dollars. I think it's very possibly someone else that Tunsil may have "screwed over" that had nothing to lose.

I couldn't tell what the convo was from but it looked like it could be Twitter direct messaging? My thought is the hacker looked at his messages when hacking his account and screenshotted them, posted them to IG.

I've seen it mentioned that the only app that looks like that is iMessage as viewed from an iPad.

That would make sense if it were old DMs or some other messaging system.

I don't either. Laremy pissed someone off pretty badly but this is the type of thing that comes from younger people raised on the internet.

Well, a couple of things.
I seem to recall the stepdad trying to sell his injury photos to TMZ and Deadspin back when the fight happened last summer. That same behavior falls in line with the recent "hacker" approaching Deadspin attempting to sell the video as well.
Also, I think the stepdad had a middle/highschool aged son present during The Smackdown. Such a kid would be of the "raised on the internet" age.

The amount the step dad gets really is not contingent upon where he went in the draft. Regardless, he will have plenty of money to pay whatever amount is awarded to him (if it is). Could be the step dad is innocent and believes not only his step son but Ole Miss shafted him and went after his character. I mean you've got the staff calling him an abuser as well as an Ole Miss connected attorney taking shots. It isn't too far fetched to think he could want more than money out of this.

i said last night if it's him then he had an accomplice but the guy just filed suit against him right? i assume he's wanting $$ which is why he's suing in the first place. why do you unleash this stuff and put yourself at risk when you're trying to score a payout????

But, no one ever accused his step father of being smart either, so who knows
What I'm getting at is this would be a terrible move for his step father if he hopes to get anything out of this lawsuit. He committed a felony if he hacked or authorized someone to hack into Tunsil's social media. He also could be looking at blackmail if that's what caused the leak, also a felony. It serves Tunsil's step father no good in his pending lawsuit to do what happened last night. But, no one ever accused the step father of being smart, so who knows.

DING DING DING DING- that's the crux of the situation right there. if the stepdad did it right after filing the suit, he's a total nimrod.
