Yea Saban said he was NOT going to be coaching the University of Alabama either numerous times... haven't you learned that just about all coaches do this crap until the season ends.

There is no reason whatsoever for Jimbo to leave. He only has to compete with Clemson for a spot in the playoffs, recruits as well as anyone at FSU, and can make as much there as he can at LSU. Why purposely make your job harder by wanting to leave for the SEC gauntlet? Doesn't make any sense.

It's just the same quote about him being "happy" at FSU. What would you expect him to say? "Amid these rumors I've decided to tell everyone I'm unhappy here. Thank you."

please stop bringing up saban denying he would go to alabama. please find a more recent situation where a coach denied going somewhere and then took the job. saban says whatever he feels like saying to the media. the other day he went on a tirade about feces through a specific metal musical instrument just to say it.

They literally thought LSU football was a bigger deal to Jimbo than his own children. That's the kind of delusion it requires to believe this was happening.

The thing is he hasn't denied he will take the job. People on both sides acting like they know for certain what is going to happen are full of shite
