Well we are getting close to Ole Miss vs Ncaa

I think as stated before that it's going to be very bad. Next to death penalty. The fact their boosters were still doing their stuff while they were under investigation tells me the Ncaa is not going to be mocked.
Your guess? I say additional 2 years bowl ban plus add 13-15 more scholly reductions. And it's possible that it is even worse than that.

Good. Maybe State will become relevant with Ole Miss down. Better not slip up and beat Saban though or you'll be in the same boat.

I only hope its worse. Freeze gets a show cause. What day will it happen.

Anything is on the table. Including the Death Penalty. It's the most severe case in 30 years. No one is invincible.

It is one of the most severe cases in a long time but others recently have been bad and did not suffer what I expected.
The difference here is two fold. 1- their boosters and arrogance kept on going. 2- NFL draft day along with the general public ticked off that the Ncaa has not dealt out penalties as they should - that has put a lot of presure on the Ncaa to get it right and show they are not weak.

Nothing has been like this. It's the most severe case of this generation.
But no one has to see that but the NCAA which they do.
There have been two death penalties given since the 1987 SMU Case. It can and will be given in special circumstances.
This looks to be special circumstances that involves severe Academic Fraud and Pay for Play.

Sorant - don't you member that the NCAA dropped everything that came out on draft day.
I know you member, you sly fox you.

Lol over your head I see. You guys still don't get it. That's a good thing in my opinion.

They may have dropped everything related to draft night. But they came back with a vengeance investigation resulting allegation of Failure to Monitor on Freeze and LOIC on OleMiss.

My prediction:
21-24 scholarship reductions over 3 years
2 year bowl ban
5 years probation
potential show cause for Freeze of 1-2 years (wouldn't count on it, but wouldn't shock me)
probable show cause for an assistant or two

When Bama escaped the death penalty after its 4th major violation in 14 years which fell into the NCAA repeat offender status and the NCAA was stating that Bama was in fact facing the death penalty and they failed to deal the death blow to Bama, the NCAA should never again give the dealth penalty to any program or even suggest a program is facing the death penalty...

The difference is Alabama cooperated with the NCAA. Ole Miss is not.
They are denying allegations and continue to have coaches on staff named in either NOA.
It's easy to see that cooperating with the NCAA gives you less of a punishment then would you would normally receive.

I think the death penalty is only available for repeat offenders-- which Ole Miss isn't. I don't think the addendum to the NOA counts toward creating a repeat offender status, though their sanctions might be, for all intents and purposes, a death penalty.

No death, but 3 years of daily, steel-toed shoe kicks to the testicles, for sure.
