Is this really happening? Vandy AND Kentucky flaming Tennessee in the same thread?
I've seen it all, now.
I'm thinking it's a sign of great things to come. Haters gonna hate. And Jones has proved a bigger momentum driver than anyone thought. Candy and apparently some UK fans thought they'd finally get a chance to pay us back for decades of whippin' dey azz.

Kitten, I've been calling you kitten cuz you've definitely proven yourself to be an immature Wildcat and since English is a problem for ya: an immature cat or baby cat is a kitten.

There are tons of Bama fans all over Tennessee just as there are tons of UT fans in Alabama. Not surprised he spoke there. Go to Nashville and its covered up with Tide fans like the Ham or Huntsville is with UT. Heck, where I come from in Calhoun county Alabama Les just spoke at the all Calhoun county team banquet a while back. Congratulated all the players, told the crowd the sacrifices these guys made, what it takes to excel at the game. Great speaker. I watched it on WJXSCA or whatever the Jax state channel is now but it was great and a great crowd showed up to hear him speak. Nobody made a deal of any sort about him speaking in NE Alabama and gave him a great round of applause. I just don't see the big deal. Some folks need to become adults.

Can I get a Roll Tide?
I SAID... can I get a ROLL TIDE?!
on a more serious note though...

UT fans were also responsible for the most heartwarming scene of the night. Confined to a wheelchair for most of his life, Knoxville resident but huge Bama fan Erik Hermanson was brought to the event by Laura Mahoney and her boyfriend, Walter Deubler, both clad in orange.
"We've known each other since 1986, when we were in kindergarten together at Sacred Heart," she said of her friendship with Hermanson. "We just wanted him to get to see this."
When Saban finished his talk, he huddled with Hermanson for a few minutes, signing several items for him.
"I loved every minute of this," Hermanson said as Saban exited the campus. "Roll Tide."

Hopefully with all the Gumps in town the local cottage industry saw a significant uptick in business. TBI should be releasing numbers shortly.

1,500 Gumps under one tent in the summer heat listening to Saban getting everyone hot and bothered? I can just imagine the stench from here.
Jk
That's a nice story about the Vol fans taking the handicapped Bama fan to this event.

Then how do you explain why Vandy fans overwhelmed Vol fans in Nashville this year, even before Franklin had a win against UT? A few more wins, coupled with Alabama's continued dominance over the big orange, and we will chase all University of East TN fans back across the Cumberland plateau.

But the one guy he destroyed is the new coach.

eh, more like NFL receivers destroyed high school DBs. those DBs can't stop Bray, Hunter, Da'Rick firing on all cylinders.

I'm happy that all 7 thousand Vandy fans decided to come and fill the bleachers up last year for the first time in history, honestly.
So what you're trying to say is you can go drive around the Nashville metropolitan area and tell me there are more Vandy Flags, decals, apparel etc being worn, flown, or on vehicles then UT's orange and white or Power T? Because if you are that's literally the fricking dumbest thing I've ever heard
Nashville might be the city in which Vanderbilt lies within but it will always be Big Orange Country. Take it on the chin and drive on
Hows recruiting the mid-state kids going for you guys by the way? 5* Jalen Hurd says, Deal with it
