Do people have to point out that 16 wins is more than 15?

Its also interesting you count conference championship games.

Why is that interesting? It was the criteria selected by the OP

But that's not what you have moved on to argue.

Mizzou is third behind Alabama and Georgia in SEC regular season win % since joining even after a 2-6 first season.

Its funny you trying to work LSU in there though.

Mizzu is just not great. They are ok, but not great. It's not as bad as Wisconsin who plays in a garbage division and will miss the top 3 teams in the other division for consecutive years, but it's not far from it either. Since 2012, you have played 9 teams that finished in the top 10. You have lost all 9 games. The average scores in those games;

Mizzu - 17.22
Top 10 - 35.44

Honestly I don't give Mizzu credit because they are winning in a very down SEC East. They win the games they are supposed to win, most of the time, but completely fail against every big challenge.

Pinkel's coaching alone can only get him so far. They need to recruit top talent to take the next step. And I don't mean two guys here or there like Boehm and Green-Beckham, Lock and Beckner. Reach outside of Missouri. I know you fans love the 'low recruit + good coaching = great player' type of thing that you have been known for, but you are not going to take the next step with just that mindset. Worse is when the big boys of the SEC East are back (which should be sooner rather than later), you'll be stuck 4th rung, at best, in the SEC East, because you can't stock a good amount of talent.

This isn't a flame post, it's the cold truth.

Except the East wasnt down in 2013 compared to its historical norms. You just dont like the names the programs that represented the East that year. It helps prop up your narrative to not give Mizzou and South Carolina credit. 2014 was down but not 2013.

SEC East ranked teams per year:

1992: 8,10,12
1993: 5,12

1996: 1,9
1997: 4,10,7
1998: 1,5,14
1999: 12,9,16
2000: 10,19,20
2001: 4,3,13,22
2002: 3

2004: 13,7

I guess that would depend on what you consider a "big challenge". The last two years we have needed to win at least our last 5 games to win the division and have done exactly that. This includes wins over West teams who the board was sure we would lose to. Now that we beat them, of course the board narrative is that they weren't worth a damn. I get it. I do. None of you guys wanted us to come in and have success. It challenges just how powerful Yall oerceived your league to be and there was no way Mizzou could come in and compete. Now that we have, every excuse in the book must be run out to shore up your shelter.

Yes, you posted "facts". The funny thing is you can make "facts" say what you want them to just by adjusting the context.

Half of those games were from 12. That season was a complete wash for us due to a unrivaled amount of key injuries. Two are in championship games. You know, games we have to earn the right to get to. One was in double overtime without our starting QB. These are all facts as well. It's also a "fact" we have the third best winning % in the league since we joined. "Facts" are crazy like that.

Do tell, what do you perceive to be my argument? Mizzou has beaten up on some terrible teams in the last two years... and been demolished by the upper echelon of the conference.

(0-2) Alabama 23-84
(1-2) Georiga 61- 101
(0-0) LSU N/A
(1-2) Carolina 55-78
---------------
139-263 Point Differential

(3-0) Florida 85-44
(0-0) State N/A
(2-1) Texas AM 91-107
---------------
176-151 Point Differential

(0-1) Auburn 42-59
(1-0) Ole Miss 24-10
(2-1) Vandy 91-61
(3-0) Tennessee 111-72
(1-0) Arkansas 21-14
(3-0) Kentucky 101-37
----------------
390-253 Point Differential

You won the division in 2013 because Georgia beat Carolina, even though Carolina beat you H2H... and you won the division in 2014 because Carolina beat Georgia, even though Georgia beat you H2H.

I just don't understand why you Mizzou folks need to puff out your chest about winning back-to-back East titles, only to get demolished in the SECCG when you finally play a conference opponent of worth. You're not on the level of any of the upper-tier teams when you step onto the field with them.

Missouri has been very surprising. Yes the East has been down, but I had no expectations of success for the program in the SEC. Surprising, and cool to see. I can't hate them just like Vandy.

Really? That's beyond rich considering absolutely no Missouri fan will give UGA any type of excuse for injuries in 2013.Unbelievable.

How bout you guys beat ANYBODY worth a shite ((Top 15)and then you'll get the affirmation which you so are desperately seeking.

Pathetic.
