Bet a lot of people are gonna be WTH re: Auburn and I even say this is a Bammer - it's good to know NOT EVERYONE totally forgets what's happened prior to the last 7-10 days in sports.

So much of the time it's "what have you done for me lately."

Not even saying Auburn should be in the Top 25, but their recent collapse doesn't completely erase how great they were playing prior to the UA and then LSU sweep.

Msu best shot at Lsu is friday and that's still vs their ace. We are fighting for seeding. I think Lsu is peaking at the right time while Msu has been getting by with all the issues out of our control.

I will be there for the weekend. Any Lsu fan going and wants some good food contact me. It will be fun and I expect a huge crowd. This has always been the most fun series!

This is going to be a heck of a series. Two great clubs with good coaches and great fans. Wish I could be in Starkvegas for this one!

Can't wait for this series. Don't sell yourself short, if there's one thing I've learned about Cannizzaro, he doesn't quit. Wouldn't be surprised if State turned it around and got back to dominance.

Someone is going to get lucky and host a regional when they shouldn't, since Missouri State can't host due to scheduling conflicts with the prime tenant at their ballpark (minor league team). I don't think the Mo. State folks would particularly going back to Fayetteville, after their super regional experience, and with both OU and Arkansas sort of on the wrong side of the hosting bubble, I could see the committee letting OU host as a 2 with Mo. State as the 1 (rewards the Big XII for the best RPI, keeps Mo. State from going back to Fayetteville as a higher seeded road team as in 2015, and snubs the SEC--the trifecta for SEC haters).

We swept D1's 14th ranked team at the time and moved up one spot? UK sweeps a UT team not even close to the top 25 and moves up 3.. What is this shite?

second time this has happened the past few years. I don't understand why Missouri State doesn't plan ahead for this and make arrangements for the minor league team to always play on the road the weekends of regionals and supers.

you looking at the poll in a very short-sighted manner. The top 10 was just rearranged. No one jumped LSU and LSU doesn't deserve to jump any of the teams ahead of them. The only team that is a little puzzling is State only dropping one spot after a series loss to UGA.

State. Better conference record, we are 8-1 in our last 9 SEC games. They lost 2 to UGA this weekend and our RPI is 13 spots higher. Doesn't really matter though. It'll settle itself out this weekend.

I don't know anything about this situation but I would imagine that the minor league team has much more leverage than Mo. State

Lange has hit his zone the last few weeks. 2 complete games in a row and the last 3 weeks:

25.1 IP, 18 H, 5 ER, 24 K, 3 BB; 1.78 ERA

They already share the stadium. They already make arrangements during the season so each can use the stadium. Don't see why they couldn't plan ahead and extend that mutual scheduling 2 weeks longer
