Love that top 3. Florida sweeps A&M, State takes series from Florida, and A&M sweeps State. Top end of SEC is always a bloodbath.

Check- in if you got road wins @ Florida, @ Vanderbilt, @LSU, @Alabama. I shut up and wait.

The SEC is filthy. You know you have a good program when you're ranked in the top 15 and the consensus is "we fricking suck"

That is the same check in as teams that got swept by A&M in Starkville.

You shouldn't be focused on baseball. You should be thinking long and hard about Ole Miss' impending doom.

All while the leader of the SEC sits a 6-7.

C'mon guys. As a State fan, he has so few opportunities to celebrate. Let him have his fun.

Damn. LSU is in 4th place in the West standings -- ranked #13.
That is seriously filthy.

What do the remaining schedules for A&M, UF, and SC look like? State's is favorable, so as long as we don't have a meltdown, we should stay put at #3

South Carolina should be higher.

We have @Kentucky, A&M, and @Bama

A&M - Vanderbilt, @South Carolina, & Ole Miss (76.52 win %)
UF - @ Tennessee, Vanderbilt, @ LSU (64.66 win %)
USC - @ Kentucky, Texas A&M, @Alabama (65.41 win %)
A&M clearly has the toughest finish and I wouldn't be shocked if we played the toughest overall conference slate. However UF & USC both play 2 road series.
As tough as all these are, I don't see State catching up and competing for the conference crown down 4.5 games with 9 remaining.

If South Carolina goes 0 for their top SEC series I just don't see them getting a national seed.
Their ONLY good series win was vs Ole Miss (which they swept) however beyond that they have split with Fla, lost to Vandy, Lost to UK and still have a big series vs Texas A&M the best hitting team in the SEC vs the best pitching team
They Miss playing LSU and Mississippi State in the west and those are they type of series that could have caught the committee's eye.
