I think Nick Chubb from Georgia and the QB's from Houston and Ohio State took the early lead.
Not a good game for LF for lsu nor Kelly from OM. Any other ones that stood out as I didn't get to see all of the games.

Lamar Jackson had 8 touchdowns in a half. That's a pretty decent start.

That quarterback dude from FSU will put up insane numbers this season maybe on an undefeated team.

meh, LSU hurt Fournette, not his performance. 138 yards for 6 ypc and 38 yards receiving. But LSU will hurt Fournette's chances the rest of the season, it is what it is

Yeah, I forgot about him and the FSU QB. I believe LF will jump back into the consideration before the year is out.

Christian McCaffrey likely remains on most watchlists.

Didn't get to see his stats but I believe D Watson from Clemson took a back seat this weekend playing a good Defense.

LF7 had 138 yds 6 yds/car and 3 rec for 38 yards. Not a great game but still decent with so few snaps.
I'd say he should be about 3rd or 4th in the race.

Watson, Kelly, nor McCaffery had huge games. I could see Chubb in the lead with Ward Jr next.

Chubb has the story line If he can finish out with 100+ yards in every game it will be hard to beat him and his streak of 100 yard games and coming back to full speed after blowing his knee out in less then a year.

McCaffrey is the man right now.

Even though it got called back his punt return was a top 5 plays of the first week.

Demarcus Walker for FSU was the best player I saw in week one.

Defensive Lineman will never win it though.
