Wouldn't touch the Notre Dame, Texass game.
Take Clemson to cover 7.5
USC beats the spread
UGA should be able to beat UNC, but betting an opening game with a first year coach seems reckless
UCLA will beat A&M
Houston should beat that spread. May win outright
FSU will beat the brakes off Ole Miss

I think the easy money pick is the Houston Oklahoma game. Houston is damn good.

I think taking Clemson and giving 7.5 would be an easy score. No way does AU stay within 17 on this game.

You left off app state +20.5 vs. UT.

They return pretty much their whole team, coming off a relatively successful first year in the sun belt.

now that's an interesting one

I agree with the one guy. Only one I'm touching is UCLA.

If you bet on the others, and act like you know what's going to happen, you're dumb and you should feel dumb.

It's been my experience that betting the opening week games (and even weeks two and three) is usually easier than later weeks. Reason being is only the idiot fans like us who read these boards the entire off season have ANY clue what's going to happen early in the season.

Gun to my head, I'm taking Clemson, FSU, Bama, A&M, UGA, ND, and Houston.

If Clemson doesn't have any big injuries we should be fine with Auburn.

I think Texas is an interesting game with the Drama at Notre Dame

I think FSU loses to Ole Miss....I think they are a little overrated.

I guess that's true. But, we idiot fans probably also overvalue the BS info we get all offseason. It's a catch 22

This may be true as well. But I still feel that in the opening weeks, the oddsmakers are pretty loose with their betting lines.

Look at the Houston Oklahoma line. Houston finished the season 13-1 last year and was considered by many to be a playoff caliber team...and they open as 10 point dogs? Makes no sense. That's a damn good bet.

Would be a really tempting ML pick. Freshman QB worries me though.

I wish I had your confidence. Gun to my head..yeah I think we'll win by at least 3. But with all the question marks we have (and there are several) I wouldn't feel comfrotable at all putting actual money on it.

Just curious, but why would you not include LSU v. Wisky in this? Its at Lambeau Field and has College Gameday opening weekend.
