I was expecting Auburn fans to respond to the Iron Bowl loss with their usual and time-tested "it's just a game, it just isn't that important to us" defense, which is frankly boring. Instead, they have opted for the much more entertaining "We was robbed by the refs!!! We really won the game if not for them!!!" approach, with hilarious results. Not just any fanbase would claim that one flag on one drive that resulted in three total points was the deciding factor in a sixteen-point defeat in which one man had more yards than your entire team, or have the gumption to cry about no holding calls on your opponent in a game in which your team also had no holding calls. Thanks for making this bold and unexpected choice, Auburn fans! It's much, much more fun for the rest of us.

Here is a little something that Aubs can "hold" onto.

No offense, but how long after the 2013 Iron Bowl loss were bama fans still talking about the no call of the lineman downfield? I'm pretty sure that cry-fest went on for several years.

What the frick is with this post-rivalry game victory melt Alabama fans have going on?
Auburn fans are 99% "season sucks, glad it's over" and Alabama fans on this board are incessantly whining about 20 different things relating to Auburn.

I actually had one bring up the kick 6 with a grin on his face.
I reminded him the same kid scored outscored their whole team by 4 pts on Sat. His smile went away pretty quickly.

Well, it was Ritter's crew calling the game. And the last 7 of those points came late when AU went for it on 4th down, giving bama good field position. So, yea, mabe that 3 point lead was big at the time of that call. Just saying.
