Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher, who was LSU’s offensive coordinator under Nick Saban from 2000-04 and under Miles from 2005-06, remains one of the top targets to replace Miles

Why go to a harder conference with unrealistic expectations when the money will be about the same? Besides, living in Flarda>living in Louisiana.

Jimbo is very much in play here, much to the chagrin of this board.

Are you hearing anything on Rich Rod being a player in the search?

Is Jimbo really worth 20+ million dollars? What if, God forbid, you spend all this money on him and he loses to Saban three years in a row? Will you take the Auburn route by paying the buyouts of multiple coaches at the same time?

Arkansas screwed you over big time.

no one knows what Jimbo is thinking

He might love the idea of handing Nick his hat yearly

I could see Jimbo forcing Nick into retirement after beating him 5 times in a row

You do not know the level of my chagrin. I am actually chagrinless.

And my confidence level of a win in BR next year went up 20% based on recent events there.

Jimbo and his agent will leverage LSU into making thigs harder for LSU and into a new contract at Florida State. Jimbo has the same agent as Saban, and Saban is Jimmy Sexton's best client. Why not try to frick up LSU's search and get a new deal for another client?

And no thanks on Jimbo after the way he let Jameis Winston run Florida State for two years.

If LSU thinks Jumbo the Clown Leader is worth $15mill buyout of Les Miles, $5mill or so for salary, plus getting on the hook for another large buyout that the clown's agent will demand - then LSU deserves whatever ills come their way.

Don't forget, LSU plays UF each year. Fisher won't want to deal with that. The West is tough enough. UF is not just an East opponent. It's an opponent that knows how dumb Jumbo is, knows how weak he is, knows he'll let a rapist run his program, and will be more than a little fired up to see him each year, not to mention McElwain is a better coach than Jumbo and has UF improving.

LSU has played in 3 BCSCGs, won 4 SEC titles, and has a 107-25 in the last 10 seasons while playing in the very most powerful college conference in the nation

That's an untrue statement. That means you're a liar. It makes it difficult to take anything you post serious.
