We should thank LSU QB Anthony Jennings....

As a change of pace from recruiting, I for one am very appreciative of this young LSU QB who has been treated shamefully by his fan base.
- In 2013, AJ ginned up a 99 yard drive late in the 4th quarter to beat Arkansas.
- In 2014, AJ threw a TD in the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter to beat Ole Miss.
Without that contribution, LSU would have LOST THREE YEARS IN A ROW TO BOTH ARKANSAS AND OLE MISS!!!!
OMG!!!! Imagine the level of trolling by the piggies and bears except for Anthony Jennings. Even Alabama fans would have had a hard time dealing with it. LSU fans, be thankful for him.
Actually, I think those two games are the only games recently that LSU came from behind to win late in the game. Certainly Methburg never led a late drive to win a game. AJ... an underappreciated resource...

I follow LSU because I live here and follow prep football here. I was looking back at the LSU QB situation in relation to recruiting, and this jumped out at me.
If LSU fans to go "wtf" I understand ... but that stuff about AJ is all true...every word is true ... you know, as in "truth," "honesty," "not false?"

AJ is pretty clutch, nobody has or would deny it. LSU fans already knew that, you're not bringing anything earth shattering to the forefront here. But while he's clutch he also has a number of other deficiencies that outweigh that strength. Perhaps he has improved as we haven't seen him play meaningful snaps in over a year at this point. I hope he has continued working hard and improving because you always need a capable back up.
