That SEC pride, mentality, self preservation, whatever you want to call it, is dead to me now. It was a double edged sword for LSU.
On the one hand, It played a roll in getting us into the title game in 2007. On the other hand, it also put a team we beat at their house in the game. A team that didn't win the division, nor the conference championship, got to play for the title. We barely beat them once and trying to beat them again on revenge mode f**king sucks. We would have taken Oklahoma St behind the woodshed and spanked that arse. Miles and LSU would also be more respected.
So I say IDGAF about that. If LSU wins its games, everything else falls into place. I mean, if Ohio State can get in playing pretty much one tough opponent all year, we should too.
ETA: really want TAMU to lose just because of the obsessed ones on this board. If not for them, I probably would side with TAMU.

I will cheer for Atm. A loss wouldn't help LSU in any way and would lead to speculation of PAC superiority. Go ags.
