Look at the bottom. It has their attendance figures going back a little over a decade. It happens to capture the years you're talking about. Do you think a 2009 article can't look up attendance figures accurately that far back?

Their paid attendance figures were materially lower in those years and that's even considering in 99 they hired one of the biggest names in college football to be their coach. If that proves your point, we must have the same point.
