Let's be honest.....

At this point, they're carrying the torch for everybody.

Them and Clemson are the only two teams deserving of a chance at a championship and Bama is pretty far ahead of Clemson.

Not with our offense we aren't. Clemson is hungry and they have the best QB in cfb with three really good receivers and a good defense. Bama can win but Jalen is going to have to have a AJ McCaron type performance from the LSU game. Something completely out of the blue.

I am not saying Bama will win the game. I'm saying based on the season they are ahead of everyone as far as deserving to play for c'ship.

I think this is a pretty poor Bama offense but a great defense. When the DB went down it also hurt special teams. Punter is excellent thou.

Bama cannot let Clemson score early or they will be in trouble. Hurts will have to make plays with his legs if Bama is going to win. Certainly sets up for a great C'ship game and a rematch at that.

First of all, we hate bama at "all times".
And they can take that torch and set themselves on fire.
I'm a Tiger fan.

I'm not sure I understanding hating them. I'm somewhat envious of their football program. The same applies to Kentucky's basketball program. It's business as usual.

Alabama carries the SEC and the rest of that conference rides the coattails. At least Bama fans can cheer for a program that has tradition instead of 2 or less national championships like the rest of the collectivists in the conference.

Bama fans are generally classy fans in the SEC.

Then why we gotta put up with your fanbase? (You know the ones that kill and teabag folks not the ones who are generally well behaved).

In all seriousness, Bama's offense has been problematic all year but so far has been able to manage because defense has taken it upon themselves to make it up for it often by putting up points in games while the offense was slow to start/warming up. Firing Kiffin and adding Sark at this time is far from ideal despite Kiffin being a moron when it comes to not running the ball enough, getting too cute or ok just a moron in general.

However, Bama still out talents Clemson across the board. Watson is far from invincible and one area where Bama dramatically improved on defense from in years past was in defending dual threat QBs. And tOSU was quite frankly a pretender -- the B1G's ranked teams are 1-5 this bowl season with the sole win coming against Western Michigan.

Clemson looked great against tOSU but was also vulnerable against multiple teams this year and barely escaped Clemsoning against NC State.

So, you are envious of Texas, but don't hate them?

If you're the Tiger fan that says they hate Bama and will never pull for them (or any other SEC team in the second season), I totally get that. But you should never ever say anything about how tough the SEC is to play in and use that as a point of pride.
