I'm so fuxking pumped. Going to rent Fast and furious 6 tonight, going to wear my 2006 graduation shirt, so fuxking pumped!!!! Going to eat sixlets during the movie too

But the fan screaming "FINAL 6!!" after a opening game win isn't going full retard?
Been following Alabama in this tournament for many years and never at this stage have I heard an opposing fan brag about being in the final 6. That's saved for going 2-0 when being on the winner's side matters, and it's final four.
This is approach being used:
"If we lose tomorrow and play the last game on Saturday, we'll be final five instead of final six!! I hope we play the late game."
It's dumb.

I am really surprised by the TN-FL score. I came away from the SEC Tourney very much impressed by TN. They were my favorites to take the WCWS. I know they are young, but they looked like a good ball club

TN is good but not WCWS finals good....FL on the other hand is. Florida has been good all season can't judge them by 1 loss in a single elimination tournament.

Umm no. Teams and fans celebrate making the sweet sixteen, elite 8, winning a regional, making it to Omaha (hell the list goes on). He also didn't scream it. No caps, no exclamation points. It was a comment in passing that you thought was incorrect so you tried to be clever. You failed in that attempt.
I'd just stop posting because you are only making yourself look worse.

All of those involve a winner and a loser. None of those you listed involve celebrating an opening win in a double elimination tournament.
Today, it's advancing to the winner's bracket. Tomorrow, it's final four for the winner and loser's bracket for the loser.
I don't care what you think about how I look on this. His wording is odd and arguing it doesn't make it right.

Who gives a frick? You're right in saying he made a very strange comment about making it to the "final 6." You were wrong when you first tried to call him out on it so you had to back pedal (Understandable. You're forgiven).
