Considering Steele got torched by two walk on QBs last year (not even considering the others who had a pulse) what do you think Clemsons offense that returns 8 starters (and a WR and a RB that are arguably top 5 at their position)

I say Watson has 350 total yards- 300 Passing on 30 attempts and 50 Rushing on 10 carries

What says the rant?

I wouldn't put a cap on it at 350 total yards. Watson will have a chip on his shoulder from Auburn's big brother in the championship game. He will take it out on them school yard style by whipping that arse unmercifully.

I was being generous

Watson should be a Heisman QB already

Maybe? Maybe Carl Lawson dislocates his knee on the 2nd play of the game. That's why we play the games.
If I were an LSU fan I'd worry about your real problem, which was generating an offense outside of a running back.

I agree...I would not want to be on their early schedule. He will be in mid season form when they come out of the locker room game 1.

If Bamas D Line last year (possibly best CFB of all time if not the deepest) couldn't slow down Watson, auburns unit under Steele won't.

Kevin Steele, while I admire him coaching till the end unlike Chavis, is not good at his position. Eastern Michigan put up 22 on us, and they were 1-11. Only 2 teams last year scored fewer than 20 on us (Miss St and the fighting 5umlins)

Well then, I'll forward your concerns to Jay Jacobs and maybe we will just cancel the game. If Bama could barely beat them last season, there's no way Auburn will even show up on the field.

Probably the best thing you could do for moral on the plains...but it will only help for another week or two.

I kind of sympathize with Auburn fans. When Steele was hired at LSU I thought maybe he just has not had the right talent yet, why would Nick Saban have him on staff so long if he was not a good coach.Yeah Steele just is not that good of a Defensive Coordinator. Auburn fans I hate to tell you it's gonna get ugly.

If I were you I'd worry about your WRs ever catching a pass with your new WR coach and terrible QBs. But I don't care enough about my former coaches to continually start threads about them. I won't even start on your OL coach who can recruit like hell but can't coach them up for shite. But again, I'd never start a thread about it.

Sorry for talking about SEC sports on an SEC sports board. What made you upset?

No, but you were all too happy to jump in on this one.
I'm fine with our hires. If I wasn't , I would probably lash out on teams that hired our former coaches.

True, so let's meet back on September 25th to discuss how the coaches did on both sidelines. I am pretty sure you will not be so proud of said hires.

2nd coming of Vince Young

Why Vince Young? There have been several QBs better than him in recent years, including those in the SEC.
