Tua looks good. Should get a chance to start over Hurts in my opinion. Looks more accurate and swift on his feet. Seems like a better fit for this style of offense.

He's playing against the 2s.

Hurts is the starter.

Fine by me. He can start hurts and give us a better shot at winning the game this year.

Hurts has 15 games of starting experience. He's also a really dangerous runner. Tua will probably end up a much better passer but I doubt Saban benches him.

Tua has looked solid but one must remember he's playing against the second string defense. Our depth at DB is the weak-link on this team. So take what you're watching with a grain of salt.

Amen

Trent Dilfer was on ESPN earlier this week talking about Tua. Was raving pretty highly and expects Hurts to be the starter but Tua will put a lot of pressure on him for the job.

I feel like you can't tell anyway I mean, neither have to worry about taking a sack. So pressure put on by the defense is irrelevant. To be fair as well, Hurt's two TD passes have been because of blown coverages by the same db (not sure of his name). Without that he really hasn't done much to impress, Tua on the other hand has already shown off his accuracy by placing 2 PERFECT passes for TDs one being a perfect fade to the corner. Jalen just doesn't have that kind of touch.

Hurts only has one TD pass. The other TD for the Crimson team was the result of a pick six. And on that TD pass by Hurts, it wasn't so much blown coverage as it was Robert Foster just smoking the DB.

My bad! I was referring to the other big deep pass that resulted in jalens pick in the end zone. Forgot he didn't finish off that drive.

He does look good, but remember he is playing the 2nd defense and Jalen is playing the 1st defense.

Jalen deserves to start. I don't see Saban insert Tua over him just yet

Bama secondary looks to be in the worst shape in years. Maybe you guys have a lot of starters out or something.
