My OM buddy said "good for him, he doesn't owe them anything! Plus, it's a charity golf event!"
I'm all for charity but it seems like Brother Hugh sure plays a lot of golf for a coach with one commitment.

He's pretty good at it. Dude loves some bass fishing too.
He will beat you at both.

He is not going to enjoy media days

Since you're a fan of the only team he's coached against and hasn't beaten, I'll let that blasphemy slide.

Luckily for him, he's on the last day in the middle. Some of the Media Days fever might have worn off by then.
Luckily for tRant, today marks the 84th day since Feb 22nd. So if weekends and holidays are included in that 90 day window, we should be due for an official OM response by this time next week. Ole Miss will probably try and put this story out there mid-afternoon on Friday. A popular time among PR professionals to dump unflattering news stories.

Media will hang around for that day, you can be assured.

That's pretty low asking him about that during a charity event.

As bad as the allegations are against Ole Piss and Freezus, they are really child's play compared to Baylor under Briles. More shite came out today about football players gang raping women, videoing it, and nothing being done about it for years despite numerous reports by multiple women to various officials. It's sickening. Those mother frickers should be shut down forever and Briles belongs in prison.

It's the ProAm for the Regions event in B'ham. People are acting like the media trespassed and took $ away from Hugh's charity.
The tourney wants publicity, hence having football coaches and media types playing golf

IMO, that's much more a criminal issue. The people involved need to be charged with crimes, and if for whatever reason enough people cannot be, THEN the NCAA should step in and try and hold them responsible from an athletics standpoint with whatever rules and bylaws they have.
Paying players, fudging entrance exams, holding no-show classes. Sure some of those might be minor criminal offenses, but largely those things aren't going to register in terms of actual law enforcement. That's why the NCAA exists. To police the things that aren't necessarily illegal (some may or may not be to an extent) but that are the rules that all the schools agreed to abide by to keep a fair(ish) playing field.

Right. And years later, nobody is in jail, Baylor is being sued by numerous women, and Briles lost his multimillionaire job. Big deal. The allegations are disgusting and heinous. They deserve every penalty that can be levied against them. Ironically, Baylor has religious affiliations. ??
