For some reason, I was expecting this thread to contain pictures/video of Auburn fans ripping off their shirts exposing nWo shirts, putting the boots to the scoreboard, and then spray painting it with nWo.

I was disappointed you were just indicating that they were switching it on.

Wait so Auburn doesn't depend on ad revenue from their scoreboard? LSU needs to take notes.

it's beautiful, no doubt. But i'll take our bigger stadium over their bigger scoreboard!

We don't need a bigger stadium, just one with a face-lift. The plans are in the works. Here's an older rendition, although it's being revamped, but nevertheless doesn't really expand seating as much as it makes it more aesthetically pleasing:

That top rendering looks very busy and generic IMO.

They have scrapped that master plan, although it was started with the outside work

To be honest we don't need a bigger stadium. Game day improvements are better for auburn

Very true... Make the people who are coming more comfortable. I would love more consession options.

It seems that concessions would be such an easy improvement.

They are going to hate it. I catch myself watching the Jumbotrons in Davis Wade more than the actual field. It comes off as a huge distraction.

Sounds like you have ADD and that's a personal problem.

Probably because the product on the field usually isn't worth watching.

I know it was scrapped, it was more or less just to show it more than likely won't be a large expansion, just a facelift.

IM sure it would be. I bet there are some contracts with the existing concession company that keeps them from changing. The food really sucks. I dont mind paying high prices at a game for food or snacks at times, but they need to be decent at least. I usually eat at our tailgate but my kids aways want something at half time. Hotdogs and Hamburgers suck. The nachos are laughable.

How hard is it to offer a decent hamburger or hotdog or piece of pizza..

OH, and not run out before halftime

That have been changing that up the past couple of years, definitely improved so far. I was pissed they got rid of Bacon Barn

AU should be able to write those contracts with a 30 day out clause, or at the very least a one season (90 day) out clause.

With the exception of your Coke/Pepsi contract, the food vendors are at your mercy. If they offer a crappy product then cut 'em loose. I mean is there any difference in Zielger/Bryan, Frito Lay/Golden Flake, Domino's/Papa John's?
