game in 2010? Thought Auburn declared him ineligible and then the NCAA declared him eligible the next day. What was the story behind that back and forth?

There was small thread about this during that season. It was enjoyable reading.

It's important to note that the team boards didn't exist back then. It was the wild west up in hur

But didn't Auburn declare him ineligible knowing the NCAA was to reverse the decision?

Yes Auburn did that and then the NCAA said he could play. So Auburn tried to do the right thing.

It was right before the SEC championship and I believe it had something to do with his father asking Moo State for money. The NCAA ruled Cam himself didn't know anything about it so they reinstated him

I don't even think it was a whole day. I remember svp saying him becoming eligible was breaking news then saying wait...when was he ineligible.

Declared ineligible by Auburn, then the NCAA said he was eligible. I believe it was the week of the SECCG, but I'm not sure about that part.
