He was obviously caught completely off guard with the questions about payments.

What I found interesting was his comment as he was been ushered away from the mic..he looked to be pointing at the reporter who asked the question and said something like "WTF he is from Mississippi".

I thought that as well but on ESPN they showed him admitting his Insta had been hacked during that interview.

He knew what they were talking about

He knew what they were asking but he didnt expect to be asked hence the instantaneous sweating like a whore in church and brisk removal from the dais.

If the text are real it gives the impression that covering players financial needs are a regular occurance.

What Laremy Tunsil's apparent admission means for Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze

quote:

Pressed on whether that meant he had taken money from a coach, Tunsil said, “I’d have to say, 'yeah.' ”

quote:

Tunsil thus seemingly gave credence to an Instagram post on his account of an alleged text conversation between the player and Ole Miss director of football operations John Miller. In that conversation, dated Feb. 15, 2015, Tunsil tells Miller he needs money for rent, and Miller tells Tunsil to “see Barney next week” – an apparent reference to Barney Farrar, assistant athletic director for high school and junior college relations, and a man generally considered key to Ole Miss’ recruiting successes

quote:

“I thought we all agreed on an amt – that number keeps changing. … Someone needs to explain exact cost – I have no way of handling surprise amounts.”

Are you suggesting some duplicity going on with the lawsuit by his step dad? He sues Laremy but wants depos from Freeze and others. Gets what he needs from them, drops the Laremy suit and goes after defamation against Freeze and Ole Miss. Makes sense if someone would have thought it up for him.
