It's possible, considering the number was called just once and lasted less than 1 minute that the escort call was indeed a misdial, right?

As I understand it, the OM administration accepted this excuse, but then took a closer look at phone records and found a pattern of inappropriate calls not related to recruiting.

So, after all of the paying players, etc., a butt dial may have cost Hugh Freeze 15 million dollars.

But what's the rest of the story??

They blew off all the shite on Freeze up until now. They look at his phone records and fire him in a New York second. What's in those phone records? And how big of a dumb arse are you to place the calls on a school issued phone? I'm dying to hear the rest of this.

Some Ole Miss fans think yesterday was a great step to keeping penalties the same as self imposed because they showed control by firing Freeze.

think about it, calling detroit who is sending you hookers out of florida? thats not regular hookers. probably underage and possibly boys would be the most likely guess coming out of a ring like that.

My apologies. I think it's difficult for him to justify a misdial if the further calls were found to also be to escort services. We shall see though

Absolutely, I buy ears of corn in bulk from CornHub.com and I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally typed a "P" instead of a "C". It's so very annoying, especially when it happens at work.

Or a working girl in Tampa who bought her burner while in Detroit.

When you are hiding identities/burner.. "google voice" etc.. pick any exchange you want pretty much.

There was one phone call found when looking at 6 days of records.

When they looked at more records, they found more calls.

What happened yesterday wouldn't have happened over 1 phone call.

How many times have you stayed on the phone for a minute after dialing the wrong number ? A lot can be said in a minutes time.

Of course it was a misdial. He accidentally called a hooker in a state he wasn't currently in. He meant to get one in Florida.

Depending on the records they were reviewing, it is likely that the minimum time shown on the log is 1 minute. It is conceivable, a call lasting only a few seconds logs as 1 minute. The press conference said the call lasted less than 1 minute, but didn't give the exact length.

This is true but it doesn't explain the other calls to escort services.

In my opinion, this is all a result of the Houston Nutt law suit. Ole Miss has known all about CHF indiscretions for a while and privately admonished him. Unfortunately for Ole Miss, this very public law suit was going to out them for LOIC. As another poster wisely said yesterday "This is just a chess move by Ole Miss to cover for greater sins as the NCAA delves deeper into their investigation"

We'll see if it has any effect whatsoever when the NCAA concludes their investigation. I think when this all concludes, we will find out that it wasn't a phone call to a escort service that tumbled the house of cards, but rather the public statements CHF made saying all of these infractions took place during Houston Nutts regime. That seems to be the tipping point, again in my humble opinion
