Have not been paying close attention as we all know most of what gets released is rumor. But does this go back to Orgeron,Oher or even Bobbie Massey?

They were an absolute abortion before the Reverend cheated his arse off. You can bet that they think it was worth it.

Of course. This will end with a mere slap on the wrist.

What accusation of cheating are you talking about? Not saying that as there are none just which one do you think is getting us the worst?

And 100% wait and see.

Even if this is remotely true. And OM somehow negotiates down the punishment that is currently on the table, the damage is done. OM had a perception of the cool new thing. With a too good to be true virtuous moral coach. That's shattered no matter what. The may still recruit in the top 30 regularly but this will end the top 15 classes for a while. They eyes on the program will prevent the cheating, and the good perception around the country is gone.

Are you sure about that? I mean the NCAA eyes were on them for a long time during the investigation and they had the Tunsil crap take place AND still hauled in a top class. What makes you think this NOA will slow their roll?

If a on going MCAA investigation with NCAA in Oxford can't stop a top 5 class how will a "watchful eye" stop anything?

Even if what you say is remotely true, we still have several wins over LSU, Alabama, State, and a Sugar Bowl trophy to show for it and would be in no worse position than we were before Freeze got the job.

Now if those wins get vacated (highly unlikely), then I might consider whether or not it was worth it. Until then... totally worth it.
