Looked like BS call to me and let UF almost end up winning. Yeah am pissed, had UGA-3.5

I didn't think so. Then again I was extremely drunk, didn't see a clear replay, and was sitting about 40 rows up on the 10 yard line.

It was very close but it looked like a forward pass to me. Regardless, Lynch should have covered the ball just in case. These are the kind of coaching details/lack of discipline that it missing on Richt's teams. Lynch's immediate reaction after a ton of repetition should have been to cover the ball. Also, Murray and any receiver involved in this play should be coached to insure that the play is a forward pass. Murray was dropping back but he should have thrown the ball in front of Lynch instead of slightly behind him. This is common for Murray though; he's often not extremely accurate with his passes.

Doesn't matter. If you can't catch a pass that easy, you deserve to get screwed.

Yes it was. Backwards AND sideways are laterals. That ball did not travel forward at all, if anything a few inches back.

Oh, and to be fair, the most impressive aspect of that play was Theus (playing LT) immediately recognizing the potential for a live ball and quickly moving into position to make what was a TD saving tackle.

If its of any interest...that play would have gone for 50 + yards probably...really that call and resulting swing was the only reason the game was close...that and Murray keeping the play action on the 1 yard line
