Is this why BoScar had to sit out 4 games to start the 2015 season?

If that were so Freeze wouldn't have gone out of his way to praise Saban on not using the NCAA stuff against them.

there is a hierarchy

rec - others make their down payments
AU - pays for their own player's cars
OM - makes the down payments for others. and get's caught

No. The $15,000 is the MSU player.

It is believed that Bo was this one.

quote:

7. Allegation seven – It is alleged that a booster provided money, food and drinks to Prospective Student-Athlete B (who enrolled at another institution) and his companions at the booster’s restaurant on two-to-three unspecified dates between March 2014 and January 2015. The value of the alleged inducements is between $200 and $600. This allegation is charged as a Level I violation that we will contest.

He was sat a few games 2 seasons ago and at the time Saban pretty much referenced this was the reason why.

Bo was interviewed and Bama/Saban told him to be cooperative.

Wait, that is a level one violation? So what is a coach giving a 500 dollar loan to a player?

Key word bolded. It is still a violation that was A) self reported, B) resulted in immediate suspension of player, C) resulted in immediate suspension and ultimate dismissal of assistant strength & conditioning coach, and D) was deemed NOT a level one violation due to the amount ($500 or less...was actually $350, I believe).

The player was able to show bank records of where the amount was paid back to the coach, and served suspension.

The two aren't comparable. At Bama it was self-reported and penalties were served. At Ole Miss it wasn't self-reported and involved a booster (who has not as of yet been disassociated).

Both resulted in the punishment being the player sat a few games.

Although OM will get hit because of the differences you listed.
