I like how this is truly one of the biggest moments in Ole Miss history.

For real though, that Auburn team was loaded.

Since you made a new thread out of it, I'll just repeat what I wrote in the other one:

I like how Ole Miss fans are bringing up an image from 2003. 18 year olds in college were 6 when Obomanu dropped that pass. And don't forget, he absolutely clowned your defense a few plays before to have Auburn in position to make that throw.

Auburn has had more down years than not since Tuberville left. Yet in the last 6 meetings, Auburn is 5-1 against Ole Miss whereas every other SEC West team has a winning record against us.

Brandon Lafell's catch and inexplicable loss of the football seconds later may be just as bad.

If we're actually discussing worse plays Auburn has had about 1000 equally as shitty this season alone.

Same.

But you fired him. He left us.

Stoernover was the correct answer.

Obomanu's drop was pretty bad. I hated that for him. He was one of my favorite AU players.

weren't we already a 3 loss team by that point?

It was a bad drop but really carried no significance. So perhaps technically it could be the worst, but in terms of meaning anything, no way. It's not like the drop catapulted you guys to new heights or anything.

Is your best argument really that he wouldn't have been in position to make this colossal frick up if he hadn't not fricked up before that?

I'm sure he would just as soon not have made the previous play.

ETA: The Cooper Wallace schadenfreude on that play is worth the price of admission.
