Warren Nolan is a big RPI guy.....
But yeah RPI in November with teams only having played 4-5 games is a bit of a laugh. It's like orgasming over MLB baseball player's batting averages in April. The averages jump up too high and plummet too low early on depending on if the hitter goes 3 for 5 in one game or 0 for 5....
The RPI is jumping too high and low from one game to the next, because the teams haven't played enough opponents, who themselves haven't played enough of their opponents either.
Wait until teams have played 10-15 games - or around the start of conference seasons - and the RPIs will start to settle down, and give everyone a more clear idea of what is what...
