People are missing the point. Fagan is trashy as are 90% of SEC softball players. That doesn't matter, it also doesn't matter if she decided to keep her hand down. Walton decided he was going to take the actions of the opposing team's player into his own hands and shoved her plain and simple. Then after receiving a shove back turned around and bowed up to her. Had he apologized for actually shoving Fagan he would have probably been suspended. Instead he made a BS excuse and will keep coaching this week. And to those wanting Fagan to be held at the same standard as the opposing team's head coach, are you dense?

My guess is that you, based on your username, are likely to have some unreasonable bias against UF. That's normal but we need to explore that bias before we can have a rational discussion about this incident.

Biases? You have a UF gator logo right by your name. I could give two craps about softball I just call it like I see it. Intentional shove clear as day. Do I think he should be fired? No. Do I think he should be suspended for a game? Yes. Should Fagan be suspended? Maybe but she did not instigate physical confrontation so I would be fine if she werent suspended.
