It's not in there for a reason, moron. Read the article. The accusations aren't new.

All coaches at every university have a "burner" phone. It may be a land-based line, but they are in contact with their agents and other wise looking for their next coaching job position.

I can assure you that every coach at LSU, Auburn, Missouri, Tennersee, Sakarolina, and AGGY are "burning up" their burner looking for the next job.

Same at Ole Miss.

let me tell you what looks "weak"...the NCAA has investigated Ole Miss for 5 years. yet, the most damaging evidence they have managed to come up with didn't come from their own investigators, but from the hack of Tunsils cell phone and social media, Houston Nutt and his lawyer, and Rosebowl Steve Robertson. The chances are very good that Rosebowl and the Tunsil hacker are the same person...THIS is what makes the NCAA look like the 3 stooges, in my opinion.

All you evidence you need of this is Nutt filing th lawsuit a day before freeze took the podium at SEC media day. Absolutely hilarious but totally vindictive.

I'd be disappointed in OM if they weren't using burner phones. It's far smarter than using university devices. I'm not even sure how the hell Freeze could have been so spectacularly stupid as to do that.

Counter-intuitively, unless you have reason to believe something will pop up in the justice system (as is the case here, with Nutt suing), it seems to me that the best device to use is your own personal phone. Unless I've missed something, as far as I know, the NCAA has no power to subpoena your personal phone records. You can just tell them to go to hell and unless they have other proof of wrongdoing, all they can do is seethe and rage because there's no way they'll punish a coach without proof just for defying their request for the records. Every one of their member institutions would turn against them in a heartbeat.

Or, for the rest of us, this is why the black-bear administration looks like 3 stooges. They could have easily stopped this investigation years ago, with a quick mea culpa and firing a random assistant coach.

I wonder if this will open up yet another investigation...

If you believe rosebowl is capable of hacking anything other than a chicken sandwich the joke is on you.

This guys was rightfully riduculed by OM fans as a bumbling idiot for over a decade, now he is an evil genius capable of international espionage.

I'm ready for this Ole Miss stuff to be done and over with. The NCAA has more pressing matters they need to be looking into, like a upstate SC church, IMG academy, and the dollar flow between them and a cow college that's a cheap auburn knockoff.

Are we talking about some Chinese thing or something? Like, there's a college in Hangzhou named "Happy Orangey Tiger Schoolplace"?

I just marvel at the sequence of hires.

First, Orgeron ends up being a disaster. Then, they hire an unhinged guy that seemingly has some weird narcissism traits, then they land on an Elmer Gantry grease-ball that torpedoes their entire program. Finally, they settle on a homer that is seemingly in over his head.

And all these infractions under Freeze. I can't see any way that guy doesn't end up with a show-cause. It sounds like he doesn't need to be around coaching in any form. Destroyed his marriage, his family, an SEC school's program for the foreseeable future.

He's like Petino, but not as good respectively, without comparable success, and twice as hypocritical.

What a huge mess. It may take decades for them to recover.

This is incorrect. It makes Ole Miss look like cheating frauds and cover up artists, he'll bent on breaking the rules without fear of consequence because they thought their system was fool proof. Stuff like this is why Ole Miss will get hammered, and it's why all of you look like idiots when you say this is over a couple of guys sleeping on a coach's couch.

The cheating looks so blatant -- how could their current coach not know about it? Seems like he would be involved, simply by proxy.

So, what happens when their current coach gets tied to some new stuff? New infractions? Do they fire him? And if so, who could they get?

There has to be zero job security there.

Their current coach is mentioned in the NOA. Reb friendly media are quick to spin that, but there's no question that he could get cited in some way, and that's the primary reason they gave him the interim head coach tag. Ole Miss folks will be quick to dispute this, but don't believe them...facts aren't on their side.

Ole Miss is done. In another year there will only be a burned hole where Ole Miss used to be.

Despite the NCAA's lack of teeth in investigation universities, they keep getting evidence handed to them on a silver platter by those in and around OM.

No, it won't go any further. You can only execute the condemned once.

Freeze and pals are gone. All the principals are going to get significant show causes and OM is going to get sanctions that will set them back to Ed O levels for the next 4-6 years.

Justice will have been served at that point no matter how many Wal Mart Straight Talk phones went unreported.
