VOLS will go 7-5 this season with Butch at the helm

Too many questions up front on the o-line and too weak of a coaching staff to hope for any better. This is a coach who could not even win the Big East outright even though he inherited a program that was absolutely rolling from Brian Kelly.
Maybe 8 or 9 wins next season but this staff will really hold this program back from reaching the next level despite their recruiting ability.
Looking at the schedule I see a talent advantage in 9 games, but a coaching advantage in only 5. That evens out to 7 wins imo.
I think 8 would be a reasonable expectation as well but any VOLS fan that expects this staff to compete for a championship with their goofy arse offense and game management skills is living in fantasy land.

You can try to talk those idiots down, but Vol fans live in lala-fantasy land.
7-5 is absolute best case. 6-6 is a more realistic expectation.

The fanbase will begin its Dooley turn if/when we lose to Oklahoma after fans having to pay out the arse for tickets to that game. I got ripped on VQ a couple of weeks ago when I said that the offense will fall apart and I don't think Space Dobbs will be the starting QB by year's end. Hope I'm wrong. Really hope I'm wrong.
