I like how if one team gets a new coach and records 10 wins in his first season, the team was "loaded" already. But when a coach comes in and it takes him 2-3 years to get bowl eligible, the team was "young"

Case in point - A&M. They were mediocre when Sumlin came in and at least they were competitive. Jones should've made far more headway than he has made IMO. Hopefully they can turn it around soon b/c otherwise, UT is just another cupcake on Bama's schedule.

Did his second team return 0 OL or DL starters and play the most true freshman in the country (24)?

Did his returning starters look like this?

Stop trying to compare TN's rebuild to ANY other rebuild ever.

Because none exist, this program was a smoldering pile of shite and it will take FOUR full years before you can judge Jones' coaching ability off his W/L record.

If he isn't winning 8 or 9+ games by year 4 then I will totally agree he isn't the coach for our program. Till then he needs time to right this shitty ship.

IF anyone should be getting burned at the stake this year for coaching it should be Spurrier. Look at how experienced this team is that he is going to have a .500 on Saturday night.
